1953   Born in Hagi as the eldest son of the 7th generation SANZAEMON KANETA.

1977   Department carving-and-clay-sculpture speciality graduation of the Tokyo University of Education department-of-education science of arts.

1979   The University of Tsukuba graduate school art graduate course fine-arts (carving and clay sculpture) speciality completion.

Becomes a pupil to Father SANZAEMON, and ceramic art is begun.

1981   Hagi international carving symposium participation (stone-carving production).

1985   Recognizes to the Japan Art Crafts Association regular member.

1989   Awarded the Hagi educational culture encouragement prize (SUGI MICHISUKE prize).

1990   Acted as the lecturer of the Hagi woman junior college ceramic art course till 2000.

1991   Japan Art Crafts Association withdrawal from the membership.

1992   『TOU一MASANAO KANETA』Publishes from KYPTO SHOIN.

1994   Japanese ceramics account of the trip /NIHON YAKIMONO KIKOU "a battle with Hagi ware and

tradition/HAGIYAKI DENTOU TONO TKAKUTOU" (NHKTV).

1996   Awarded the Yamaguchi art culture promotion encouragement prize.

1998   Television-broadcasts, burns and is thing inquiry "A lump of clay is innocent" (NHKTV).

1999   Awarded the Energia fine-arts prize (Energia ,cultural sport foundation).

2000   Assistant professor of University of Tsukuba science-of-arts descent (- 2003).

2004   Professor of the Hagi International University ceramic art culture course (- 2007).
